Coming home - Thursday March 22
A friend at Lakeshore Camera club bicycles the same route, and says he never sees any couches - I can see them in the dark!

Byron and Decarie SE (lane)

at lunch Thursday, March 22,
When you are having to find a couch every day ( and moving season hasn't started) you go see if the couch you took last year is still there. This one is from my volume 3 of unwanted couches taken on  December 7th

West Broadway & Sherbrooke NW

Wednesday March 21
There were only two there on Monday.
One of my theories is that when one person sees a couch being thrown out, they then throw theirs out. I am not sure if this is a  "if they can throw out a couch like that - how can I keep mine" moment or do they think that garbage trucks do not pick up couches, and add it to the pile feeling there is security in numbers.

I will try to impart all my knowledge of thrown out couches throughout the year; but only promise a photo each day.

My first two years I photographed primarily landscape, last year I did it in portrait mode, so I intend all thew blog photos to be square format.

Sherbrooke & Rosedale NE

going to work -Monday March 19
Each day I will indicate the date the photo was taken, its location and whether I took the photo going to work, at lunch or on the way home. This was not my normal route, but I had seen it coming home from the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

My unwanted couches blog

I hope the title is not accurate, and that unwanted relates to couches not blog!
The cover  of my first book of unwanted couches. Now that I have begun bicycling again, I will follow the suggestion of one of my camera club members by posting every day an unwanted couch found on either my bike route to route, or on my walk around at lunch.  I may not find one every day - but historically speaking I should average one a day until the winter.  I actually started biking Monday - and the green St Patrick's couch will be my first post.
